Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data we collect through the prokanal.bg website, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what rights you have over it. Please read it before sending us an enquiry.

Who processes your data

The controller of your personal data is ProKanal EOOD — a company registered in the Republic of Bulgaria, with its registered address at Sofia, Dobrinova Skala Blvd, Lyulin 2, block 262.

What data we collect

We collect only the data we need in order to answer your enquiry and carry out the work.

• Data from the enquiry form — name, telephone, email address, the service you are interested in, and the description of the problem you entered yourself.
• Data when you call — the number you are calling from, and whatever you tell us about the address and the nature of the problem.
• Data about work carried out — the site address, the work performed and the documents issued, where we have attended or surveyed.
• Technical data — IP address, device and browser type, and the pages you visited. These are recorded automatically in the server logs and used for security and site maintenance.

We do not knowingly collect special categories of personal data (health, political opinions and the like), and we ask you not to send us any through the contact form.

Why we process the data, and on what basis

• To answer your enquiry and arrange a visit — on the basis of steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• To carry out the work and issue documentation — on the basis of performance of the contract between us (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• To meet our accounting and tax obligations — on the basis of a legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
• For the security of the site and to defend our rights in a dispute — on the basis of legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

How long we keep the data

• Enquiries that did not lead to work — up to 12 months from the last correspondence.
• Records of work carried out and documents issued — 5 years; accounting documents — 10 years under the Accountancy Act.
• Server logs — up to 12 months.

After those periods the data is deleted or anonymised.

Who we share data with

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it only where necessary, and then only with:

• the provider of hosting and maintenance for the website and email, acting as a processor on our instructions;
• our accountancy firm, for invoicing and reporting;
• public authorities, where we are required to by law.

We do not transfer data outside the European Economic Area.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right:

• to access the data we hold about you;
• to have inaccurate data corrected;
• to request erasure (the “right to be forgotten”);
• to request restriction of processing;
• to receive your data in a machine-readable format and transfer it to another controller;
• to object to processing based on legitimate interest.

To exercise any of these rights, write to us at prokanal@abv.bg. We respond within one month. We may ask for further information to satisfy ourselves that the request genuinely comes from you.

Right to complain

If you believe we are processing your data unlawfully, you have the right to complain to the Commission for Personal Data Protection — Sofia 1592, 2 Prof. Tsvetan Lazarov Blvd, tel. 02/915 3 518, www.cpdp.bg.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or legal requirements change. The current version is always published on this page, and the date at the top shows when it took effect.
